OSGeoLive

This directory hosts a set of IPython Notebooks that demonstrate the Open Source Geospatial Tools capabilities on OSGeo-live.

To start the Jupyter Notebook server on OSGeo-Live, use the GEOSPATIAL menu item start Jupyter Notebook. On the same menu, select Jupyter Notebook to open a browser pointing to the Jupyter Notebook dashboard running on http://localhost:8883 .

From OSGeo-Live you can upgrade to the latest version of this repository by running the command git pull from the notebook directory : /home/user/jupyter/notebooks.
